NOLLENDORFSTRASSE

“House of Dreams” in the Schöneberg neighborhood

“FROM MY WINDOW, THE DEEP SOLEMN MASSIVE STREET.”

From: Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood, who lived at Nollendorfstrasse 17 in 1929 as a then still unsuccessful English writer. Isherwood later became famous with that book as the template for the film Cabaret. A memorial sign on the house honors his memory today.

This dreamlike Wilhelminian-style building in beautiful Berlin-Schöneberg near Winterfeldmarkt was the first building acquired by the Trockland founders in 2010.

The residential building at Nollendorfstrasse 25 was extensively renovated and has been part of our portfolio since then.

BEST OF NEIGHBORHOOD

Around the “Nolle”, as Nollendorfstrasse is lovingly called, you will find one of the most popular districts in the western part of Berlin. The neighborhood is especially in full swing on Wednesdays and Saturdays when the largest weekly market in Berlin is held at Winterfeldtplatz.

Not a day goes by without Impala Coffee; founded in 2003 on Pappelallee in Berlin and successfully growing to four more branches.

Sironi – best pizza and bread in all of Berlin, says Alfredo

Berkis – fresh Greek pita variations right at Winterfeldtplatz

Habibi – Arabian snack classic on Golzstrasse, always fast and delicious

Winterfeldt Schokoladen – exclusive chocolates and sweets from all over the world to melt your heart away

Papeterie Moranga at Winterfeldtplatz – brighten up everyday life with beautiful details.
