Schillerpromenade and Weisestrasse are pulsating with neighborhood life
The story of our Schillerkiez buildings in Berlin-Neukölln is quickly told: In 2010, we acquired two classic Wilhelminian-style apartment buildings at Weisestrasse 37/38 and Schillerpromenade, extensively renovated them, and have been renting out the sixty-nine apartments and commercial units since then.
The beautiful historical buildings are a typical home in this neighborhood, which its residents proudly claim is the best in Berlin.

What’s so special about the Schillerkiez?
Laura: “There is always something to see and do. Walking from the market at Herrfurthplatz to Tempelhofer Feld and back through the side streets, you pass people, shops, and restaurants from every corner of the world. Everything unpretentious, remarkably beautiful, and with a lot of love for Berlin. It’s inspiring.”
Noam: “The proximity to Tempelhofer Feld is awesome. And when it comes to art and culture, I’m a fan of the Genazareth Intercultural Center in the church, the KINDL Center for Contemporary Art, and also Spore: This initiative offers learning programs for biocultural diversity, among other things.”
You’re both foodies – what are your neighborhood highlights?
Noam: “First and foremost, of course, is always my wife’s restaurant Beba, although it is located in the Gropius Bau in Kreuzberg. Otherwise, La Cote on Kienitzer Strasse and Barra on Okerstrasse are really outstandingly good. And for Middle Eastern vegan dishes, Cafe Pilz is the hotspot.”
Laura: “When it comes to the neighborhood eateries, you could add all kinds of things, but I particularly like Käserei Camidi and Café Pomeranze.”
