The transformation story of Paragon is a rebirth
of the original nature of this place The historical part of
the neighborhood was built as a community school by the famous architect Ludwig Ernst Emil Hoffmann. But after only two years, the Prenzlauer Berg district office moved in, and starting from 1934, it also housed part of the Imperial Airforce Training School. From the end of World War II until 2005, the building was used as a hospital.
After more than a hundred years, children have found their place again here. Today, it is once again home to a preschool and to colorful community life, among other things.
