DOXS NKLN

A harbor of cultures at the Neukölln canal

In the middle of Berlin-Neukölln, not far from the famous Sonnenallee and in the immediate vicinity of the Estrel Hotel & Convention Center, may be found DOXS NKLN. This catchy name says it all.

We see the potential in the former Alba scrap yard area to become a harbor of cultures for the neighborhood and the entire district. This clearly shows what really defines Neukölln at its very heart: a cultural, social, political, and economic togetherness that has always embraced opportunities and overcome challenges – thanks to the people who live their commitment here day in, day out.

PIONEER SPIRIT SINCE 1906

Located right on the banks of the Neukölln canal and with two striking historical portal cranes on the site, it is crystal clear that we want to emphasize the strong link with the industrial history of the Neukölln harbor while, at the same time, transforming the site.

The cranes that are present have been kept on as witnesses to local history, and they will be integrated into the architectural concept.

WE’RE ALL IN THE SAME BOAT HERE

The district of Berlin-Neukölln is a truly forward-looking destination – Stefan Klingsöhr, Managing Director of the Klingsöhr Group, and Trockland CEO Heskel Nathaniel both agree. In this podcast, the two business owners discuss (in German) what makes the district special and why new, successful projects are being created here.

Among many great initiatives, one of the outstanding strengths of Neukölln is the Unternehmensnetzwerk Neukölln e.V..

The long-standing members have given our DOXS team an incomparable welcome, quickly making it clear that in Neukölln, being part of the network means joining in with all hands on deck.

Award-winning architecture
We are delighted that, thanks to the outstanding vision of our long-standing partners GRAFT Architekten, the project has already received its first prestigious recognition and was awarded the “Future Projects Awards 2023” by Architectural Review in the “Commercial Mixed Use” category.

Nena Apartments are the first tenants to choose this location and will contribute to the new Harbor of Cultures with guests from all over the world.
